That’s my theme for 2013; and from what I’ve seen and heard, I’m not the only one. Everybody seems to be sick of walking a tightrope in their head, juggling sticks of dynamite that are posing as threats of what society or other people my think.
Now when I say weird, I mean the good weird. The self-expression, individualistic weird. Not the bad weird. The weird I used to be. The intoxicated, drug fueled weird that speaks in tongues and accomplishes nothing.
I’m not advocating saying fuck it to your job and picking up a crack pipe or seeing what all the rage is about in concern to shooting meth. That’s no good.
I mean in regards to how you want to look, how you want your home to be. How you speak, act, function. No holding back. Just proverbial twat out in the wind. If someone doesn’t like it, they can keep on moving, fuck ‘em.
Life is too short to be pissed off because you’re changing yourself for people or society. They’re not going in the ground with you and if you were drowning, my bets are they’re not offering a hand. So why worry about what they think? They’re not saving your life or holding your hand when you kick the bucket and morph into a pretty little corpse…
So make your fucking life just as you want it. Enjoy the shit out of it, because that’s really as good as it gets. Happy in ourselves and the lives we’ve created for ourselves; doing what we want and feel is right.
Take on the DGAF attitude… Don’t Give A Fuck, (but still be considerate please, no need to be rude; nobody likes an asshole).
